MECHANICAL FISH

This four metre long mechanical Lantern Fish, built from reclaimed materials, is part of an ongoing series of kinetic works that will eventually form part of a larger installation, the Mechanical Aquarium. It is driven by a small electric motor and accompanied by the gentle sound of an aqualung breathing.
